Inspired by Hedy Lamarr, and also the name itself (with Hebrew and Greek origin, the derivative of the name signifies 'sweet', 'pleasing', but also 'warrior').

Hedy Lamarr represented all facets of a great human - she was brains and beauty - not only a famous movie star in the 1930s & 40s, she was also a (self-taught) inventor of many sorts.

Often deemed the 'mother of wi-fi', she mastered the art of frequency hopping during WWII which laid the foundation for today's wi-fi and GPS. She also studied animal behaviour to help Howard Hughes make planes fly faster through the air. Hedy even created a glow-in-the-dark collar for her Great Dane when she had a hard time finding him at night.

Hedy gave life her all, although for the latter part of her life lived in solitude. Many people call her a controversial character, but not us at the House of Hedy; we see her as a necessary character.

We admire her various thinking skills and offering, something that we also resonate with and like to offer. This e-consultancy will offer a various amount of resources and thought-provoking content; from exploring AI to humanity, we will post anything that we feel will help others in their work and/or thought process.

Welcome to the House of Hedy - lots more to come. And please do feel free to connect
